TUCSON – The Michael Perry Park intersection at Pantano Parkway and Golf Links Road is What’s Driving You Crazy.
News 4 Tucson viewer Ellen wrote in to say that the intersection “is an accident waiting to happen. She goes to the park and says it is hard to turn left onto Golf Links without a left turn signal.”
The intersection at Pantano Parkway and Golf links has a left turn signal from Golf Links to Pantano, but there is not a flashing or leading yellow light when exiting the park onto Golf Links.
Ellen would like to see either a flashing yellow or a leading yellow light installed for park goers like herself.
News 4 Tucson’s Allie Potter spoke with the Tucson Department of Transportation and they said this location is on the list to be studied for a left turn arrow. That study will be done sometime in March or April.
