TUCSON - Another breezy afternoon, especially east of Tucson and cooler with highs in the 60s and low 70s! Temperatures warm back above average the first half of the weekend before cooler air moves back in.
This afternoon will be closer to average and windy mainly east of Tucson, with gusts up to 35 mph possible. The system bringing the breeze has brought some cooler air with it! Highs will warm into the 60s and low 70s today and tomorrow, which is closer to average for this time of year.
The next couple of mornings will be cold with temperatures dropping into the 20s and 30s across the board. Some isolated spots could even drop into the teens! Remember the 4 P's (PEOPLE, PETS, PLANTS, & PIPES).
We'll warm up again on Saturday with highs in the mid 70s, but it won't last long. Another system passing through on Sunday will bring a breeze and cooler temperatures to all of Southern Arizona but only the White Mountains have a chance for light snow showers. Highs will only warm into the 60s Sunday afternoon!
Temperatures rebound quickly early next week with highs in the upper 70s by next Tuesday. A stronger system could bring some moisture to Southern Arizona next Wednesday! More details to come as we get closer.
