Calmer winds and mild temperatures are back for Friday

TUCSON (KVOA) - The wind advisory from yesterday has expired and we are only looking at a light east breeze for the rest of the day.

Temperatures are also looking much better. Highs this afternoon will return to the mid 60s and overnight lows will be back around 40 degrees.

Temperatures will slowly climb back to the 70s this weekend and stay there through much of next week. Overnight lows will stay around 40.

We are tracking a stronger cold front that could bring us some rain next Thursday and Friday. As of now, confidence is low, but we could see 0.1 inches of rain between the two days along with some snow on the mountains.

  • Today: Sunny and mild. High: 65°
  • Tonight: Clear and cold. Low: 36°
