Midweek warm-up!

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TUCSON - The haze will continue to decrease with a sunny and warm afternoon ahead. Triple digit heat returns starting tomorrow!

Smoke from the California Wildfires will continue to clear out as high pressure builds over the Southwest. Thanks to high pressure, temperatures will also warm a few degrees above average with highs near or slightly above 100° starting tomorrow. A storm system passing to the north of us will drop our temperatures back into the upper 90s by the weekend and that trend will continue into early next week.

So far this year we've had 91 days above 100° and that could add up to 94 days if we warm into the triple digits Wednesday through Friday. The record still stands at 99 days back in 1994 but 2020 is getting closer and closer!
