TUCSON - Dry air continues to build up thanks to high pressure over Southern Arizona. Rain chances will start to subside for all of our area after Friday.
A small chance of rain is still in place for Friday afternoon and evening, but widespread thunderstorms are not expected.
High temperatures will reach 105-106 for the next week.
A few extra clouds and some small rain chances will be possible for South and Eastern Cochise county on Saturday, but not for anywhere west of Willcox.
If you are waiting for that next chance of rain we could see a quick storm system push into Tucson next Thursday. It is not projected to be strong, but a few showers and weak thunderstorms are possible.
