TUCSON - The bulk of the rain has pushed through but some lingering showers are possible through this evening!
- Today: Some lingering showers through this evening (10%). High: 59°
- Tonight: Slight chance for rain, otherwise mostly cloudy. Low: 44°
- Tomorrow: Mostly sunny and seasonable. High: 66°
A storm system pushing through the Southwest brought rain and mountain snow earlier. A couple of isolated showers will be possible tonight into Wednesday morning especially to the north and east of Tucson.
Rain and snow amounts have been light with totals ranging from 0.10" to 0.30" of rain with Radio Ridge atop Mount Lemmon recording about 2" to 3" of snow. We could see some additional light rain and snow accumulation through this evening and into early tomorrow morning.
Temperatures will be below average today with highs in the upper 50s but tomorrow afternoon we'll rebound closer to normal in the mid 60s. We'll gradually warm up to near 70° by the end of the work week and into the weekend.
Our next chance for rain and snow could arrive by early next week but we're still several days away. We'll keep you updated as we get closer!
