Snowflakes will be flying late Thursday and Friday morning in southern Arizona

TUCSON - Okay, so while Tucson may not see snow, elevations above 3500 feet will likely see a dusting to one inch of snow late Thursday night into early Friday morning.

This after 70+ degree days across much of the region!

A cold area of low pressure will move over the area during this time period, and bring some valley rain and relatively low snow.

Some lower elevations to receive snow include Oracle, Bisbee, Benson, Sierra Vista and Willcox.

Highs will struggle to get out of the 50s on Friday with decreasing clouds throughout the day.
