Weekend forecast: Conditions remain dry and hot in Tucson

TUCSON – It was another dry today, and tomorrow you can expect more of the same.

Tucson is expected to remain dry tomorrow. Isolated showers will be possible for areas south and east of Tucson. Highs tomorrow will run 5-10 degrees above average.

On Tuesday and Wednesday an Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect for Tucson and areas westward. Temperatures will range between 105-112 degrees across Southern Arizona, so heat risk levels will be high to very high.

Be sure to limit your time outdoors the next few days, especially between 10 AM and 8 PM. Remember to also drink plenty of water throughout the day. If you’re thirsty, you are already dehydrated!

Later next week, tropical moisture will increase. This will cool temperatures back down to the mid-to-upper 90s and bring a 20-30% chance of storms to Tucson.
