Monsoon 2019 is finally waking up!

TUCSON – Isolated to scattered storms possible this afternoon! Biggest impacts include gusty wind and blowing dust. Could see some heavy rain where storms develop as well. 

  • Today: Isolated storms. Gusty wind and blowing dust possible (20%). High: 106°
  • Tonight: Partly cloudy and warm. Low: 79°
  • Tomorrow: Isolated storms during the afternoon (30%). High: 105°

We have a chance for storms every afternoon through the weekend! The biggest impacts will be gusty wind from thunderstorms and blowing dust. We could also see heavy rain where storms develop. Be sure to listen out for thunder if you have any outdoor plans!

Temperatures remain hot and above average this weekend with highs right around 105°. The average is 101°. As we move into midweek next week temperatures will be closer to average in the low 100s and potentially upper 90s.

There will be a lull in Monsoon activity early next work week but it is expected to ramp back up mid to late next week!
