Rain lovers may have to wait- monsoon 2019 put on pause

TUCSON –  Monsoon lovers may have to wait awhile for our daily round of storms.

Long-term computer tools predict drier and cooler than average conditions (late June to early July) for the start of the monsoon.

These cooler temperatures will stick with us this week and much of next, but signs point to high pressure moving in by the end of next work week. This would raise our temperatures and moisture, increasing our chances of rain.

Hopefully Monsoon 2019 isn’t too far away.
