Ready or not, here’s Cooldown 2.0

TUCSON – So far, we have hit 96 degrees at Tucson International Airport, so it looks like we will come just short of breaking the ice today.

Don’t worry- warm temps won’t stick around for too long.

An area of low pressure in California is moving this way. This system will increase our winds, create some clouds, and drop our temperatures. Heads up, fire danger will be high tomorrow with those winds gusting up to 40 mph at times.

if you thought this has been a cool first half of the month of May, you were right. The proof is below.

Long term signs indicate lower than average temperatures for the rest of the week, carrying through next work week. No signs of breaking the ice quite yet!
