TUCSON – It is going to be a wet Mother’s Day starting on Saturday night. Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase into the evening hours across much of the area.
Sunday will see a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. as the system moves south of the area.
Enough moisture Monday for scattered thunderstorms east of Tucson, then thunderstorms limited to the White Mountains Tuesday and Wednesday.
Expect well below normal temperatures this weekend, then will warm up to the 80s and upper 90s during the work week with sunny conditions.
