Monday Forecast: Cold front brings slightly cooler conditions to Tucson

TUCSON – Cooler air will start the new week.

Temperatures will be back to near-average for this time of year. Today’s forecast high in Tucson is 84 degrees, which is right on target with today’s average high.

This cool down is courtesy of a trough moving through our area. Additionally, this system will bring us breezy conditions at times, along with a slight chance of rain to our area tomorrow.

Tomorrow, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible for Southern Arizona, especially for areas near higher terrain. A 10% chance of rain is currently in place for the Tucson Metro.

On Wednesday, a ridge of high pressure will start to build, and a warming trend with begin. By Friday, Tucson’s daytime high will be close to triple digits.
