Monday Forecast: Cold front brings chilly temperatures to Southern Arizona

TUCSON – A weather system is passing to our north, bringing rain and snow showers to portions of Northern Arizona.

While Southern Arizona will remain dry, this weather system is attached to a cold front. This will bring chilly temperatures and breezy conditions to our forecast this afternoon and overnight.

Daytime highs are expected to reach the mid 50s in Southern Arizona, which are 10-15 degrees below average. Overnight, temperatures in Southern Arizona will reach the freezing mark.

Tomorrow high pressure will start to build across our area. This will warm temperatures back up the 70s.

However, later this week, a change will occur. A trough will move to our north, and this weather system will bring a chance for rain Thursday through Saturday.
