TUCSON – Daytime highs are expected to peak below the seasonal average this afternoon. Daytime highs will reach the low 60s in the Tucson metro.
Tonight will be quite chilly, as well. Temperatures are expected to drop to the 20s and 30s across Southern Arizona. Conditions will be cool, but mostly clear for the Geminid meteor shower.
Expect dry weather to last through Saturday. High pressure will move across the desert Southwest, bringing daytime highs near the 70 degree mark this weekend.
Conditions will change on Sunday as low pressure begins to move into our area. A 10% chance for rain is in place on Monday and Tuesday. However, most of this moisture is likely to stay near the international border.
