Fifty-eight students graduate from PCC Nursing Assistant Program

TUCSON – Fifty-eight people in the Pima Community College Center for Training and Development Nursing Assistant Program were honored on Thursday, November 21.

Among them, students in the first cohort from Pima Community College Santa Cruz in Nogales and the latest group from the Pasqua Yaqui Tribe’s Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act.

In order to get certified, students were required to complete 80 hours of classroom and skills labs and 40 hours of clinicals at a long-term care facility.
