SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. – Multiple female students in the San Tan Valley area were contacted by an adult male on a commonly-used social media platform between Nov. 3 and Nov. 5, according to Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
The identified individual, Kyle Vlosich, 21, sent unsolicited nude pictures of himself, along with threatening statements, saying he wanted to rape the teenage girls.
Several of the girls reported the messages to their parents, who then contacted the sheriff’s office.
Through the department’s investigation, Vlosich of Milwaukee, Wis. was able to be identified.
With assistance from authorities in Milwaukee, Vlosich was arrested on one count of Exposing Genitals to a Child, on Tuesday.
Sheriff Mark Lamb wrote a message to parents:
“Parents, take time tonight to talk to your children about the dangers of social media and strangers. Their accounts and information settings should be set to private, and parents should always monitor their children’s social media activity.”
This investigation is still ongoing. If you have any information, please call the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office at 520-866-5111.
