Pima Pain Center launches education initiative against opioids

TUCSON – The Pima Pain Center celebrated five years in Southern Arizona on Friday, November 1.

They say their next major project focuses around education.

Their education platform is to help patients understand the opioid crisis and how to manage pain.

“Our main goal is to treat pain and take care of it as a whole,” Dr. Jimmy Arefieg, the Pima Pain Center Medical Director.

The Pima Pain Center said they plan to launch a CBD line which they will offer as an alternative to opioids.
