KVOA Goes In-Depth With Special Olympics AZ at USA Games In Seattle

TUCSON – Hundreds turned out to this morning’s Special Olympics Arizona “Breakfast With Champions”.  If you missed the series of inspirational stories News 4 Tucson’s Paul Cicala put together on Special Olympics athletes from Tucson (and all of Arizona) from Seattle (Special Olympics USA Games), -no worries.  They are emotional, feel-good stories you’ll only see on KVOA.

In-depth look at Special Olympics athletes on Team Arizona during their week-long adventure at the 2018 USA Games in Seattle. Thousands of people have made their way to the campus of the University of Washington for the Special Olympics USA Games, with a couple of dozen athletes and coaches from Tucson representing Team Arizona.

News 4 Tucson’s Paul Cicala is also on Team Arizona’s support staff, and took advantage of the opportunity to report at the Special Olympics on the amazing athletes representing the Tucson area and Arizona.  He put together this special, mini-documentary on the Special Olympics athletes representing Team Arizona.
