TUCSON – Crews are still working to repair a water main break on Tucson’s southwest side Tuesday morning.
According to Tucson Water, “repairs are more extensive than originally thought.” Water has been out in the Tucson Estate area since 7 p.m., on Monday.
At this time it is unknown when the repairs are going to be completed.

The main break has also closed Irvington Road at Sheridan Avenue. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
According to Leslie Lenhart, TUSD Director of Communications, Johnson Primary School, Vesey Elementary School, Valencia Middle School, Banks Elementary School, and Frances J. Warren Elementary School will be closed for the day.
