TUCSON – On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, southbound Sixth Avenue at Congress Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 6 a.m. to allow a contractor to install new ADA-compliant ramps and sidewalks on the west side of Sixth Avenue.
The southbound road closure is scheduled to be in place until 4 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019.
The traveling public can expect delays when driving in this work area. Pedestrian access will be maintained with
pedestrian fencing around the work area.
This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances. The City of Tucson asks to watch for construction personnel and equipment in the area.
