TUCSON – A bicycle-involved collision has restricted Country Club Road from Third to Fifth streets Thursday morning.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the bicyclist received minor injuries in the collision. No other injuries were initially reported in the incident.
Also in the same area, police say a separate vehicle lost control in that area and hit a power pole. TPD said these two accidents are not connected.
Country Club Road has been restricted to one lane of traffic in both directions. Police say this will affect one Sun Tran bus stop. Traffic will be restricted for the next 24 hours.
Tucson Electric Power crews are currently working on the repairs for the power pole.
Motorists traveling in the area should expect delays.
