Jedd Fisch named Arizona Wildcats head football coach
TUCSON (KVOA) - Arizona found its new football coach. New England Patriots quaterback coach Jedd Fisch will be taking over the team.
"Give a big #beardown welcome to our newest #wildcat, Jedd Fisch...The new Arizona Wildcats Football head coach. Welcome to the team!!!," the University of Arizona said in a tweet Wednesday.
Fisch interviewed for the job on Monday, according to NBC Sports.

The Wildcats fired Kevin Sumlin on December 12 after a 70-7 loss to rival Arizona State in the 94th Territorial Cup Game.
His 29-game term (9-20) ended with a 12-game losing streak, the longest in program history.
Due to the cancelation of UArizona’s final game against California, the 2020 Wildcats (0-5) are the first team in school history to finish a season with no wins.
Ed Doherty’s first Wildcat club in 1957 went 1-8-1.
