UA fan arrested for jumping field, riding exercise bike

TUCSON – University of Arizona Police Department arrested a man after he reportedly jumped onto the field and rode an exercise bike during the Arizona-Cal football game at Arizona Stadium.

According to the personnel that provides security during Arizona Athletics games, the man was arrested and cited for trespassing.

Arizona Athletics released the following statement in response to Saturday’s incident.

“Any time a person violates our policies and steps on a field or court of competition, they are putting the safety of our student-athletes and coaching staff members at risk. As a result, we have to take this incident seriously, follow our process and report it to the appropriate officials.”
