TUCSON (KVOA) -- Arizona Softball moved up a spot in the national rankings this week as the Wildcats jumped from 4th to 3rd in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches poll.

UA (5-0) swept their Hillenbrand Invitational and took advantage of a loss by previously No. 2 Washington to Nevada at the Dixie Classic.

Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza batted .667 on the weekend with two home runs to pick up the 1st Pac-12 Player of the Week honor. The senior reached base in 13-of-17 plate appearances.

Arizona's pitchers dominated the Invitational with a 0.50 ERA including a Hanah Bowen's first career no-hitter. It was the 94th no-hitter in Arizona history.
