Arizona Soccer stays clean on the season

TUCSON – Arizona Soccer scored three goals within the first 10 minutes of their match with UC Irvine Sunday on the way to a 4-0 home victory.

The win was the fourth straight for the Wildcats this season, all by shutouts.

The UA goals were scored by Brooke Wilson (2’), Jill Aguilera (6’), Jada Talley (10’) and freshman Madison Goerlinger (52’).

The Wildcats (4-0) out-shot the Anteaters 17-5.

Freshman Hope Hisey needed to make just two saves to preserve the clean sheet.

Next up is a road trip to the Bay Area where Arizona will take on Santa Clara (Friday) and San Jose State (Sunday).
