ADOT: Vehicle registration can now be renewed at Walmarts across Arizona
TUCSON (KVOA) - From milk to vehicle registration renewal, Walmart will soon be one-stop shop for Arizonans to cross off all there major errands for the day.
On Monday, Arizona Department of Transporta5tion announced that Arizonans will soon be able to renew their vehicle registration at one of the world's largest retailers through a new partnership with CheckFreePay® from Fiserv.
According to officials, residents can visit the Walmart Money Center to renew their vehicle's registration. They will just need to provide the last two numbers of their vehicle's VIN and record number which can be found in the registration renewal mailer.
The resident will then be able to renew their registration with cash or a debit card.
“We’re committed to giving customers convenient options to complete their business with MVD,” said Eric Jorgensen, MVD director. “Being able to renew vehicle registration during a trip to Walmart, as well as other grocery and convenience stores, is one more example of our promise to get Arizonans out of line and safely on the road.”
MVD customers will still be able to renew their vehicle registrations online at AZMVDNow.gov or ServiceArizona.com, or visit an Authorized Third Party office.
