TUCSON (KVOA) – A Sierra Vista man in connection to a domestic violence case was arrested Wednesday in Tucson.

Police say Travis Wells, 38, was arrested on domestic violence charges, including kidnapping and aggravated assault after an arrest warrant was issued by a Cochise County court on Monday.

Initially, Sierra Vista Police Department arrested Wells on Oct. 22. They say his arrest was in connection to a domestic violence incident that occurred from Oct. 19 to Oct. 22 in the 1400 block of Golf Links Road in Sierra Vista.

He was later released from the Cochise County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

The bond was revoked on Monday, police say.

Wells was not eligible for bond because he was already out on bond from a separate domestic violence incident in Pima County earlier this year. Police say both incidents involve the same victim.

On Wednesday morning, he was located at a hotel near the Tucson International Airport.

Originally, Wells was booked into Pima County Jail. He was later transferred to Cochise County Jail.

Wells is currently being held without bond.
