News 4 Tucson Cooks makes Tomato Tortilla Soup.


  • 6 tomato’s
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 cans of tomato pure
  • Chicken stock ( 4 cups ) can be veggie stock as well
  • 1 cilantro bunch
  • 2 poblanos
  • 2 cans of mexican crema ( Mexican crema can be find in any Mexican grocery store )
  • 1 table spoon of spoon of each  garlic powder pepper salt and oregano

Directions: Mix all of the pinto bean ingredients and cook. Once they are cooked, add in a separate pot Guajillo Peppers sautéed in oil with the beans. Blend together and they are ready to go.
