Tucson VA starts administering COVID-19 vaccines to veterans 85 and older
TUCSON (KVOA) - The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) started administering COVID-19 vaccines to veterans 85 and older Monday.
In a news release, SAVAHCS said they are contacting veterans who are eligible to schedule appointments to get the vaccine.
“We’re very excited to begin the first phase of our Veteran vaccinations and staff are very happy to provide these vaccinations for our patients,” said Jennifer Gutowski, SAVAHCS Director.
