‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ comes to Tucson

TUCSON - Jesus Christ Superstar debuted Tuesday night at UA Centennial Hall.

The show is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

"It is the last seven days of Jesus Christ's life told through the eyes of Judas," said James Delisco Beeks, who plays Judas.

Beeks said that the show is like a rock concert and all about the music, which pays tribute to the historic 1971 Billboard Album of the Year.

The cast performs songs like, 'I Don't Know How to Love Him' and 'Superstar'.

Jesus Christ Superstar runs until Sunday. For a link to tickets, click here.
