Silver Alert: 78-year-old with Alzheimer’s from Yuma reported missing

YUMA, Ariz. – A Silver Alert has been issued after a 78-year-old man from Yuma was reported missing Tuesday evening.

According to Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, James Edward Degan was last seen leaving his home, which is located near the 12635 block of East 46th Street, at around 8:30 p.m.

Deputies say Degan reportedly has Alzheimer’s and several other ailments.

He was described as a six-foot-tall man with gray hair and blue eyes, who weighs about 260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, jean shorts, black socks and black shoes.
