Santa Cruz Valley Regional Hospital announced Tuesday that Tawnya Tretschok has been named Chief Executive Officer of the hospital’s Santa Cruz Valley Physician Group.
She will manage the Santa Cruz Valley Physician Group, overseeing operations, growth strategy, physician recruitment, service-line development and the expansion of the healthcare delivery system to serve the Santa Cruz Valley, according to a news release.
Tretschok brings more than 20 years’ experience in physician relations, engagement, recruitment and retention, leading clinical and financial operations in public and academic settings. She was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of Carondelet Medical Group.
Prior to that, Tretschok was Chief Department Administrator for the University of Arizona Health Network.
Tretschok earned a master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. She is also a member of the American Heart Association Board of Directors, Eller College’s Industry Advisory Board of Directors and a former member and Chair of the Reid Park Zoological Society’s Board of Directors.
