Man arrested in Sahuarita for allegedly molesting, providing drugs to teens

TUCSON – A 32-year-old man was taken into custody at a hotel in Sahuarita on Saturday after he allegedly molested, and provided drugs and alcohol to two teenage sisters.

According to Sahuarita Police Department, 32-year-old Ricky Legrand of San Manuel was arrested for sex-related offenses after officers were dispatched to a local hotel in regards to a female randomly knocking on hotel room doors early Saturday morning.

SPD said after further investigation, police discovered two teenage victims and the 32-year-old inside one of the hotel rooms.

Police say the two juveniles met Legrand through a social media website. An investigation revealed that the sisters were alleged victims of multiple criminal offenses, including sex offenses involving Legrand. Officials say the San Manuel resident also reportedly supplied the teens with illicit drugs and alcohol.

Legrand was booked into Pima County Jail for charges including sexual conduct with a minor, molestation of a child, possession/use of a dangerous drug, furnishing obscene material to a minor, furnishing liquor to a minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
