Celebrating National Fragile X Awareness Day by lighting Fourth Ave. underpass teal

TUCSON – To celebrate National Fragile X Awareness Day, the Fourth Avenue underpass was lit up teal on Monday, July 22.

It was lit up teal to represent the color of the FRAXA Research Foundation.

Fragile X is the most common inherited form of Autism and developmental disability.

It’s caused by a genetic mutation that about one in 150 women carries.
