San Miguel High School students out in the workforce
TUCSON – At News 4 Tucson we love to teach future journalists the ways of the industry and we are happy to welcome a new member to our intern team, Jason Bailey!
Bailey is a freshman at San Miguel High School.
This is part of the school’s “Corporate Work Program” where students work at a local company for the entire four years of high school.
On Friday, July 19, the school had their “Draft Day” where News 4 Tucson found out that Bailey would be joining us in the fall.
“This has become a tradition all over the country at our schools and we said why not here in Tucson,” said David Mason, President & CEO of San Miguel.
Three other San Miguel students will also be returning to our newsroom next year.
