PACC holds free microchip, drive-through clinic

TUCSON – Ahead of the Fourth of July festivities, Pima Animal Care Center will be hosting a free microchip clinic.

The clinic will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, at 4000 N. Silverbell Rd.

PACC says pets are often frightened by July 4 fireworks and run away.

Last year, the shelter took in 416 pets the week after the July 4.

PACC says that during the drive-through clinic, dogs should still be on leashes and cats should be in carriers.
