Sunday Forecast: Feeling more like Monsoon

TUCSON  – Lingering moisture and above average heat will keep a few showers and thunderstorms in the forecast the next couple of days. This will be followed by a drop in thunderstorm chances until late in the week and into next weekend when moisture returns.

105 for the high Monday with a 10% chance for rain.

Independence Day is mostly cloudy with no rain chance. Overnight lows in the 70s.

In the meantime, high temperatures will remain a few degrees above normal before lowering to more seasonable readings by Friday.
