TUCSON – Carondelet hospitals are providing free CPR training courses for Southern Arizonans during National Emergency Medical Services Week.
The first class was held at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Tuesday. The goal is to teach people how they can save a life in the event of an emergency.
“This is the one skill that just about anybody can do outside of the hospital,” said Kyle Pitcock an American Medical Response Paramedic. “This is what makes that difference in life or death.”
The next CPR class will be held at St. Mary’s Hospital on May 23. The training session will start at 8:00 a.m.
