$1 Million donated to Pima County’s JTED program

TUCSON – Hundreds of students graduated from the Pima JTED Program Friday, May 17.

Joining them on stage was Ross Potoff with a major donation.

Potoff and Potoff Private Philanthropy donated $1,000,000 to the JTED Program.

When Potoff retired from The University of Arizona after 40 years, he was able to reflect on the vocational training that got him to where he was and in turn found a way to give back to students who want to follow a similar path.

That’s why Potoff created “Pothoff Private Philanthropy.”

“You have nothing to lose and everything to gain,” said Ross Potoff. “JTED is fabulous and it allows your children a very decent form of vocation that can last them their entire career.”

JTED offers tuition-free courses to high schoolers in Pima County. There are over 50 programs they can take part in.
