Remains of missing Arizona City woman located on Tohono O’odham Nation

SELLS, Ariz. – The remains of the missing 64-year-old woman from Pinal County were located in a remote area of the Ak Chin community on the Tohono O’odham Nation Tuesday.

According to Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, Bonnie Webb was reported missing April 1 after he failed to return to her home in Arizona City the day before. She was spotted on surveillance cameras traveling in her truck near Casa Grande and Stanfield.

Her vehicle was located April 4, abandoned in the desert area of Indian Route 15 and Indian Route 34.

Police located human remains Tuesday at 11 a.m. Officials positively identified the remains as Webb.

“On behalf of the Tohono O’odham Nation’s Police Officers and Rangers, our heartfelt condolences go out to the
family of Ms. Webb in this difficult time,” Richard Saunders, Director of Public Safety for the Tohono O’odham Nation said.

Agents with the FBI are continuing the investigation.

Her cause of death has not yet been released.
