TUCSON – The University of Arizona is expanding its mobile health program.
The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation, Youth on Their Own and Primavera Foundation’s Casa Paloma teamed up with the program to provide services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The expansion is also funded through at $450,000 donation from the Banner Health Foundation. The gift, which was provided earlier this year, allowed the program to operate a second mobile clinic and hire a full-time family nurse practitioner.
The program’s mission is to serve rural communities in Southern Arizona. To learn more about the UA Mobile Health Program, click here.
