Four injured in hit-and-run crash in Sierra Vista

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. – Four people were injured in a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of highways 90 and 92 Monday afternoon.

According to Sierra Vista News Network, a truck reportedly struck a motorcycle and multiple other vehicles while traveling at the intersection. The truck reportedly then fled the scene, hitting the motorcycle a second time.

SVNN said four people were transported to the hospital with varying degrees of injury. The motorcyclist was airlifted to Tucson, officials say.

The condition of the injured has not yet been released.

Authorities say the suspect of the hit-and-run was located near the Ace Hardware at 3756 E. Fry Boulevard near Highway 92. Police say the suspect may have suffered a medical emergency at the time of the crash.

The area was shut down for more than 30 minutes in reference to the crash.
