Man dies from injuries in midtown crash, other driver arrested for DUI

TUCSON – A man died Monday from injuries sustained in a vehicle collision at a central Tucson intersection March 31.

Justin J. Faucher, 38, was transported with life-threatening injuries after his brown 1999 Saturn passenger car was rear-ended by a silver 2017 Ford Fusion at the intersection of Speedway Boulevard and Camino Seco. Tucson Police Department said the 38-year-old was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.

The driver remained at the scene.

TPD said the driver showed signs and symptoms of intoxication, which led to the motorist’s arrest.

Police said speed was also a factor in the incident.

The investigation is on-going.
