Union Pacific trains to stop during 2019 Rodeo Parade

TUCSON – The Union Pacific Railroad agreed to stop running trains during the duration of the 2019 Rodeo Parade.

Union Pacific trains will not run to and from Nogales from 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21st.

Organizers of the parade say they worked with Union Pacific for the past three decades to make sure trains didn’t run during the parade.

This year, Union Pacific originally denied the request to stop train traffic. However, a committee member contacted them and asked them to reconsider.
