Two Vail high schools put on lockdown after report of firearm on campus

TUCSON – Two Vail Unified School District high schools have been put on lockdown in connection to a report of a firearm seen on campus.

According to officials, Tucson Police Department was dispatched to the area of Andrada Polytechnic High School and Pantano High School after a man was seen with a firearm. Police say he may be a possible student.

TPD said no threats have been made in connection to the incident.

Police have not yet located anyone with a firearm on campus.
