According to TPD, the child’s mother, 30-year-old Breanna Henson was taken into custody on one count of child abuse.
Police say she was reportedly intoxicated when the officers arrived at the home. Henson allegedly told police that she woke up to find the baby deceased with a dog nearby.
The baby was found with punctures and scrapes to the body that is consistent with a dog bite.
