Nationwide recall of Infants’ Ibuprofen underway

TUCSON –Tris Pharma, Inc., has issued a voluntary recall of Infants’ Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension.

The products were sold under brands for Family Dollar, CVS Pharmacies, and Walmart.

The recall was issued over fears that the product has higher concentrations of ibuprofen.

According to Tris Pharma, Inc., infants may be more susceptible to the higher level of drug, therefore “may be more vulnerable to permanent NSDAI-associated renal injury.”

Side effects could include nausea, vomiting, or pain.
