TUCSON- The Ronald McDonald House will host its 6th Annual Walk for Kids this Sunday at the University of Arizona Mall.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. followed by the walk beginning at 9 a.m.
This year in addition to the 3K walk, there will be activities for children including workshops and kid obstacles with special appearances by Santa Claus and Disney princesses.
Parking is free in the Cherry Avenue garage.
Organizers expect to raise $100,000, which will provide 1,000 families with a night at the Ronald McDonald House. For every four people who sign up, one more family will be able to be cared for at the Ronald McDonald House for a night.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona is a locally incorporated 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to nurture the health and well-being of children and their families. RMHC of Southern Arizona is eligible for the Arizona State Charitable Tax Credit and all donated funds stay right here in Tucson.
