Anchored in Tradition: Donuts for Rookies

 

On today’s “Anchored in Tradition”, News 4 Tucson’s Sports Director Paul Cicala showed how to make donuts, out of store-bought dough.

“DONUTS FOR ROOKIES”

Ingredients:
1. Pillsbury crescent dough (or any muffin dough)
2. Vegetable Oil
3. Sugar
4. Brown Sugar
5. Cinammon
6. Chocolate
7. Peanut Butter
8. Any other spread

– Take dough out, and roll into whatever shapes you desire (traditionally, “donut” shapes”)
– Dip In heated vegetable oil
– Turn in oil until golden brown
– Take out, and let it dry a bit
– Add sugar, cinnamon, honey, peanut butter, chocolate, or whatever you desire to add taste
